We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Member Experience Representative at the YMCA of Greater Vancouver. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, promoting membership sales, and ensuring a positive experience for our members.
Key Responsibilities- Membership Sales and Promotion: Promote membership sales and services in a positive and professional manner, meeting and exceeding projected sales targets.
- Customer Service: Provide exemplary customer service to all members, guests, and participants in all program areas, including the fitness floor and child, family, and youth programming.
- Program Delivery: Assist with the delivery of programs and services, including fitness classes, child care, and youth programs, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all participants.
- Facility Management: Assist with the maintenance of a clean and safe facility, including the fitness floor, common spaces, and changerooms.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with members, staff, and volunteers, using established systems and structures to record and report on member satisfaction, interest trends, and activities.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service orientation.
- Education and Certifications: Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C & AED certificate, computer proficiency, and experience with CRM systems.
- Experience: Experience in a fitness facility or recreation centre, with a strong understanding of fitness theory and group fitness certification an asset.
