Job Title: Gift Processing and Donor Services Coordinator

About the Role:

Daily Bread Food Bank is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Gift Processing and Donor Services Coordinator to join our Development team. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for processing donations, maintaining accurate donor records, and providing exceptional customer service to our donors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process donations in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that all data is up-to-date and secure.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of donor interactions, including phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to donors, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with data entry and maintenance, ensuring that all donor information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Prepare and send acknowledgement letters and receipts to donors, ensuring that all correspondence is professional and timely.
  • Collaborate with the Development team to achieve fundraising goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in data entry, customer service, or a related field.
  • Experience with Raisers Edge or similar donor management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with donors, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
