Position Overview:

CB Canada is on the lookout for a dedicated individual to enhance our team as a Cage Operations Cashier. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance with all operational policies and procedures, focusing on cash management and transaction accuracy while fostering a secure and inviting atmosphere for all staff and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage cash transactions, including foreign currency exchanges, traveler's checks, and cash counts.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies or unusual cash activities.
  • Process value chips and gaming tickets for cash redemption.
  • Facilitate the sale of racing tickets, vouchers, and related products as necessary.
  • Verify and execute machine fills, jackpots, and table credits.
  • Issue and reconcile cash floats for Slot Attendants and other staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of cash transactions and assist in preparing revenue reports.
  • Conduct thorough cash counts and ensure proper documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with various operational departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external guests.
  • Adhere to all licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs.
  • High School Diploma; additional education is a plus.
  • At least one year of experience in high-volume cash handling.
  • Possession of or ability to obtain Serving It Right Certification.
  • Must successfully pass a criminal record and credit check.
  • Physical capability to manage cash carts and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to distinguish between different denominations of currency and chips.
  • Proficient in using computers and cash handling equipment.
