Job Summary:

Great Canadian Entertainment is seeking a skilled Count Team Member to join our team at River Rock Casino Resort. As a key member of our Cage operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and security of our cash handling processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Count and verify cash and cash equivalents to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Organize and secure the storage of count carts, drop boxes, and other related equipment.
  • Report any discrepancies or suspect activity to management.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, building strong relationships and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education an asset.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in high-volume cash handling and counting.
  • Serving It Right Certification or ability to achieve within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Ability to pass a criminal record and credit check.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks such as pushing and pulling carts, standing for long periods, and lifting.
  • Ability to differentiate between denominations of chips and authenticity of currency.
  • Proficiency in operating a computer, ten-key adding machine, and money counter.
