As a Culinary Service Specialist, reporting directly to the Head Chef, you will engage in a variety of customer-focused tasks within the culinary services domain. This role demands exceptional customer service abilities and meticulous attention to detail. Opportunities for advancement are available for the right individual.
Your responsibilities will encompass:
Preparing food items and taking ownership of tasks associated with your designated service area. Complying with all mandated health and safety protocols while handling food, including: Utilizing proper techniques with tools, supplies, and equipment (e.g., knives, ovens, cleaning supplies) Wearing and properly using appropriate personal protective gear (e.g., non-slip footwear, cut-resistant gloves) Adhering to FoodSafe and/or ServeSafe standards, including documenting all time-sensitive food items. Ensuring the cleanliness of your workspace, including equipment, kitchen, and dining areas. Washing dishes and utensils either manually or using a dishwasher. Acting as a representative of goodwill, ethics, and excellent client relations at all times on behalf of Dexterra Group. Delivering outstanding customer service consistently, fostering an environment that aims to create remarkable culinary experiences. Upholding speed of service standards. Listening to customers (both internal and external) and responding professionally to inquiries and concerns, escalating issues to higher management as necessary.Required Qualifications
WHO ARE WE SEEKING?
A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in the hospitality or culinary service sector. Certification in Food Safety. Completion of WHMIS training (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System). Exceptional Customer Service skills. Professional demeanor and punctuality. Availability for shifts from Monday to Sunday, 7am to 10pm (Weekend availability is essential). Ability to learn quickly and work independently.-
