We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estimator/Project Manager to join our team at ServiceMaster Restore. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our restoration projects, from obtaining quotes from sub-trades to ensuring timely and efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all components of restoration projects, ensuring customer satisfaction through timely restoration processes.
- Coordinate project activities with insured individuals, clients, sub-trades, and other consultants.
- Monitor and control project costs, ensuring they are within target gross margins.
- Assist in the resolution of change requests, unforeseen incidents, and additional work.
- Perform periodic site inspections to determine compliance with approved estimates.
- Coordinate the permit process, reviewing permit applications and received permits for accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain timely and accurate documentation, reports, and other materials.
- Track and review sub-trade quotes, estimates, changes, and requests for payment.
- Minimum three (3) years of work experience in insurance restoration and/or construction estimating/project management.
- Strong management, delegation, planning, and leadership skills.
- Excellent negotiation, diplomatic, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, field drawings, and plans.
- Results-oriented individual with the ability to interpret and effectively manage multiple and competing priorities and timelines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to engage clients and deliver excellent service.
- Thorough decision-making skills.
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
This position requires a low level of physical exertion. Moderate intensity of sensory effort is required. The majority of time will be split between site and office environments. The position can occasionally expect to handle tools and heavy equipment. Working outside of normal hours might be occasionally required to deal with emergencies and/or work on-call shifts.
