Job Title: Estimator/Project Manager

ServiceMaster Restore is seeking a highly skilled Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of restoration projects, from obtaining quotes from sub-trades to ensuring timely and efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all components of restoration projects, ensuring customer satisfaction through timely restoration processes.
  • Coordinate project activities with insured individuals, clients, sub-trades, and other consultants.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring they are within target gross margin.
  • Assist in the resolution of change requests, unforeseen incidents, and additional work.
  • Perform periodic site inspections to determine compliance with approved estimates.
  • Coordinate the permit process, reviewing permit applications and received permits for accuracy.
  • Prepare and maintain timely and accurate documentation, reports, and other materials.
Requirements:
  • Minimum three (3) years of work experience in insurance restoration and/or construction estimating/project management.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft computer software, including Excel, Word, and email.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, field drawings, and plans.
  • Results-oriented individual with the ability to interpret and effectively manage multiple and competing priorities and time lines.
  • Strong management, delegation, planning, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent facilitation of meetings, feedback sessions, and briefings to create consensus among stakeholders.
Working Conditions:

The majority of time will be split between site and office environments. The position can occasionally expect to handle tools and heavy equipment. Working outside of normal hours might be occasionally required to deal with emergencies and/or work on-call shifts.
