Position: Workforce and Labor Relations Director

Role Overview:

  • Promote a constructive workplace atmosphere for all staff members
  • Interpret and manage collective bargaining agreements while providing necessary administrative assistance
  • Lead and facilitate negotiations with labor unions
  • Offer guidance to management on human resources matters
  • Coordinate and enhance employee skill development initiatives
  • Supervise the recruitment and staffing processes
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires
  • Support the transition to an updated human resources framework

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a unionized setting
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline
  • CPHR certification is preferred
  • Proficiency in French and basic knowledge of English
  • A positive mindset and willingness to embrace change
