Job Title: Residential Construction Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Construction Supervisor to join our team at Saab Uppal Construction Inc.

Job Summary:

The Residential Construction Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of carpenters, labourers, and other construction personnel
  • Prepare and submit reports on project progress, including cost estimates and material requisitions
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Requisition materials and supplies, and coordinate with contractors and suppliers
  • Oversee apprenticeship training and provide technical advice to team members
  • Estimate costs and materials, and ensure projects are completed within budget
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in residential construction
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
