Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Auditor/Investigator to join our team in a dynamic and challenging role. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and completing audits and inspections for all operational groups, including flight, ground, and training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Conduct external audits of subcontractors and vendors to evaluate adherence to contracts and company requirements
  • Develop and maintain detailed audit checklists for all functions and elements under the approved manuals and quality assurance program
  • Assist in the development of short and long-term risk mitigation options to address contributing factors identified during investigation
  • Facilitate the investigation process to identify possible contributing factors to the event being investigated and gather factual information
  • Participate in occurrence investigation activities for aviation operations
  • Support the development and implementation of safety management systems (SMS) for aviation operations

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience in commercial flight operations, with pilot experience preferred
  • Previous experience working in the safety management system of a commercial airline
  • Previous experience auditing to meet IATA operational safety audit program requirements
  • Excellent analytical skills, able to interpret requirements and apply to process development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Technical knowledge of aircraft types operated and maintained by the company is considered an asset
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
  • Strong commitment to meeting deadlines and effective time management skills
