The Role:

We are currently seeking a Corporate Auditor to become a part of our Internal Audit team. Your Responsibilities:
  • Enhance the Internal Audit function by identifying potential risks related to business objectives and assessing the effectiveness of existing controls to strengthen risk management, governance, and control processes.
  • Collect pertinent information regarding internal practices through thorough research and discussions with team members.
  • Support the audit planning process, conduct on-site fieldwork, and assist in drafting audit reports while ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Clearly communicate findings and recommendations to IMP Group's business units and senior leadership.
  • Assist in special investigations and address other concerns as directed by the Director of Internal Audit.

Qualifications for Success:
  • A post-secondary degree in accounting or finance, or a business degree with relevant coursework in auditing and accounting.
  • A recognized accounting designation or a commitment to pursuing a CPA designation.
  • CIA or CISA certification is considered an asset.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in internal audit, public accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong negotiation abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer literate; experience with JD Edwards is a plus.
