About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Nursery Labourer to join our team at 1421885 B.C. LTD. as a key member of our horticultural operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Training
    • No formal education is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
  • Work Experience
    • Previous experience in horticulture or a related field is not necessary, as we provide comprehensive training.
  • Tasks and Duties
    • Budding and Pruning
      • Assist in budding and pruning trees, shrubs, and plants to promote healthy growth and development.
    • Greenhouse Maintenance
      • Clean and maintain the greenhouse environment to ensure optimal growing conditions.
    • Weeding and Soil Preparation
      • Remove weeds and debris from fields and other work areas to prevent competition for resources.
      • Mix and prepare soils to meet the specific needs of different plants.
    • Plant Care and Transplantation
      • Assist in planting bulbs and seeds, and transplanting seedlings or rooted cuttings.
      • Pot and re-pot plants as needed to ensure optimal growth.
    • Reporting and Quality Control
      • Monitor plants for signs of insect or disease damage and report any issues to management.
    • Teamwork and Safety
      • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals.
      • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

      • This is a permanent, full-time position.
