About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Nursery Labourer to join our team at Holden Lake Farm. As a Nursery Labourer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the cultivation and maintenance of plants, including cleaning, pruning, and fertilizing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cleaning tasks, including cleaning the crops, greenhouses, and work areas.
  • Prune and trim plants to promote healthy growth and development.
  • Apply fertilizers and other plant treatments as needed.
  • Assist in the harvesting of seedlings and other plants.
  • Operate climate controls and other equipment to maintain optimal growing conditions.
  • Remove weeds and other unwanted plants from the farm.
  • Assist in the preparation of soils and other growing mediums.
  • Plant bulbs and seeds, and tend to their growth.
  • Transplant seedlings and other plants to new locations.
  • Assist in the grafting of plants.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens.
  • Clean and maintain work areas and equipment.
