About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Hazelwood Construction. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks involving physical labour at construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform manual labour tasks such as cleaning and preparing worksites, setting braces to support the sides of excavations, and removing waste materials.
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including jackhammers, pavement breakers, concrete mixers, and earth compactors.
  • Work safely and efficiently to meet project deadlines.
Requirements
  • Prior experience working in a manual labour position is an asset.
  • Safety-conscious attitude and approach to work.
  • Good attitude and great attention to detail.
  • CSA-approved steel-toed boots.
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly rate of $23.12-$35.57, depending on experience and education.
  • Vacation pay: 13% of your hourly wage.
  • Benefits eligibility: After completing 250 hours.
  • Pension contributions: $4.80 per hour worked.
