Agricultural Labourer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Nursery Labourer to join our team at Holden Lake Farm. As a Nursery Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of our greenhouse and nursery, including planting, pruning, and harvesting crops.

• Greenhouse Operations
  • Assist in the daily maintenance of the greenhouse, including watering, fertilizing, and pruning plants.
  • Monitor and control the temperature and humidity levels in the greenhouse to ensure optimal growing conditions.
  • Assist in the harvesting of crops, including cutting, packing, and preparing them for market.
• Nursery Operations
  • Assist in the planting and maintenance of nursery stock, including seedlings, cuttings, and grafts.
  • Monitor and control the health and quality of nursery stock, including detecting and treating pests and diseases.
  • Assist in the preparation of soil and other growing media for planting.
• General Labour
  • Assist in the general maintenance of the farm, including cleaning, repairing, and maintaining equipment and facilities.
  • Assist in the transportation of crops and equipment as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
