The HVAC/Hydronic Sales Specialist will play a crucial role in expanding and enhancing the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning sector. The primary objective is to deliver exceptional customer service by offering expert advice, detailed product information, and comprehensive installation assistance. This role involves understanding customer requirements and effectively promoting both established and innovative HVAC solutions to achieve sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exhibit in-depth knowledge of HVAC products and their practical applications.
- Assist customers with technical inquiries regarding HVAC products and their installation.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for Mckeough Supply sales colleagues.
- Diagnose issues and develop solutions for customer challenges.
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with suppliers.
- Prepare quotes, provide technical assistance, and distribute product literature to foster strong customer relationships and support sales objectives.
- Identify market opportunities and potential new clients.
- Advise customers and the Profit Centre Team on new products, services, and market developments.
- Engage in trade exhibitions, training sessions, and vendor meetings to stay informed about product knowledge, industry trends, and offerings.
- Adhere to all safety protocols at customer sites and within the Profit Centre.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Profit Centre Manager.
Qualifications:
- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent; a college or university degree is advantageous.
- Over 10 years of relevant technical field experience.
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong relationship-building skills with clients, suppliers, and team members.
- Capability to learn and utilize the necessary software for order processing.
- Experience in a dynamic work environment with meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated work ethic and high integrity standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience or knowledge of hydronics or HVAC products offered at the Profit Centre.
- Proficiency in using the Internet for problem-solving and finding alternative solutions for clients.
- Familiarity with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
