Job Title: Showroom Sales Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Showroom Sales Associate to join our team at EMCO Corporation. As a Showroom Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers in selecting products, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in assessing their needs and providing product recommendations
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with designers, home builders, and architects to drive sales growth
  • Provide accurate quotes and delivery dates to customers
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales and gross profit targets
  • Enter orders and quotes in the system, ensuring timely and accurate processing
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues, addressing short payments and returns in a timely manner
  • Maintain product literature and display materials to ensure a professional showroom environment
  • Drive showroom sales through promotions and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Understand and follow all safety regulations at customer locations and the EMCO Corporation showroom

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; college and/or university degree an asset
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service or sales; plumbing, kitchen, or bathroom showroom sales preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
  • Ability to gain comprehensive knowledge of products on display and provide expert recommendations
  • Knowledge of kitchen and bath design trends
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent relationship building skills with customers, vendors, and teammates
  • Able to identify customer needs and provide solutions
  • Intermediate math skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience with or knowledge of products sold in plumbing, kitchen, or bathroom showrooms
  • Experience using Trend and Eclipse
