Occupational Health and Safety Specialist (East)We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to join our growing team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the well-being and safety of our employees across all Parkbridge properties and departments.
What You'll Do:- Implement, maintain, and enhance the occupational health and safety program for all lines of business.
- Develop and execute property-specific health and safety plans.
- Actively participate in safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
- Assist with investigating work-related incidents and tracking their resolution.
- Provide guidance and support to communities in addressing safety non-compliances, offering practical and effective solutions.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly safety reports, analyzing trends and providing insights to management.
- Travel up to 33% of the time during peak season (May to September) to support various properties.
- Contribute to other occupational health and safety initiatives as needed.
- A certification or diploma in Environmental, Occupational, Health, and Safety, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- 1-3 years of experience in the occupational health and safety field, including administering training programs, conducting hazard assessments, performing EHS audits/inspections, etc.
- Experience working within a large, multi-departmental organization is highly desirable.
