We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Harbourview Inn & Suites. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen staff and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.
Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and kitchen assistants.
- Develop and implement menus that showcase our hotel's culinary expertise and appeal to a wide range of tastes.
- Source high-quality ingredients and manage inventory to ensure efficient food preparation and minimize waste.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with our events team to create customized menus for weddings, conferences, and other events.
- Monitor food costs and labor expenses to ensure profitability and efficiency.
- 3+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role.
- Proven track record of menu development, kitchen management, and team leadership.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
