About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at RONA. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods throughout our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and Loading: Inspect and verify incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Forklift Operations: Safely operate propane or diesel gas counterbalanced-type forklifts and/or reach trucks to transport goods throughout the warehouse.
  • Inventory Management: Accurately count and record inventory levels, identifying any discrepancies or damage.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Participate in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess a valid forklift operator certification and a driver's license.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to perform continuous physical work, including lifting weights of up to 23 kilograms (50 pounds), and work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
