Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Program Finance Director to join our team at Leonardo DRS. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our program finance functions and ensuring the financial success of our programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial plans and forecasts for our programs, including sales, bookings, profit, and cash forecasts.
    • Manage and analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Financial Management
    • Oversee the management of program finance functions, including forecasting, risk management, cash management, budget preparation, variance analysis, and contractual reporting.
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead and manage a team of program finance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
    • Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration within the team.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management
    • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, customers, and industry partners.
    • Communicate financial information and analysis to stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise understanding of financial performance and risks.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field from a recognized institution.
    • Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in program finance, with a strong background in financial planning, analysis, and management.
    • Proven track record of success in leading program finance teams and driving financial performance.
  • Skills and Competencies
    • Strong grasp of accounting principles, including Cost Accounting Standards, Sarbanes-Oxley, and International Financial Reporting Standards.
    • Advanced financial analysis skills, including financial modeling, forecasting, and risk management.
    • Effective leadership and management skills, including influence management, conflict resolution, and team development.
    • Superior problem-solving, critical thinking, negotiation, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
