Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Bell. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in supporting the transformation of our financial close process through centralization and optimization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the financial close process to ensure accuracy and completeness of results in a timely manner.
  • Work in partnership with various business units to understand the organization.
  • Evaluate and analyze financial results.
  • Manage risks and take necessary actions.
  • Support the production of various internal and external reports.
  • Prepare, review, or approve transactional end-of-month processes.
  • Support the control environment and audit requirements.
  • Support special projects.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • CPA designation or equivalent experience in finance, an asset.
  • Two to three years of experience in a similar finance/accounting role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Practical knowledge of SAP-BI, SAP-FI, and related accounting systems, an asset.
  • Experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning, an asset.

  • Passion for understanding operational activities and their links to financial processes.
  • Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to plan and execute multiple priorities independently, and to remain calm and composed in times of uncertainty and stress.
  • Ability to establish strong relationships to influence and establish partnerships with diverse multidisciplinary groups and levels of management to achieve a common vision.
  • Ability to take initiative and assume responsibility for problems by leading the resolution step.
  • Ability to work within a team.
