Job Title: Retail Stock Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Retail Stock Associate to join our team at B.C. LTD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Direct customers to the location of articles sought.
  • Inventory Management: Unpack products received by store, count, weigh, or sort items, and record incoming stock.
  • Stockroom Maintenance: Stock shelves and display areas, and keep stock clean and in order.
  • Order Fulfillment: Order stock and price items using stamps or stickers according to the price list.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform general cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Cultural Competence: Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Youth Support: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Indigenous Support: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Mature Worker Support: Provides staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
  • Visible Minority Support: Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.

Work Environment: Permanent position, 35 to 40 hours per week, English language, and a welcoming work environment.
