Lead Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst role is integral to our Technology Finance Team, with a primary focus on managing the Wireless CAPEX portfolio. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Technology Finance, the ideal candidate will utilize exceptional technical and communication skills to ensure precise and timely CAPEX reporting. This position plays a vital role in the forecasting and variance analysis processes, collaborating closely with multiple stakeholders across various cross-functional teams. Additionally, the successful candidate will contribute significantly to various ad-hoc special projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilitate the financial operations of the organization by preparing and reviewing month-end journal entries, forecasts, and budgets.
- Deliver insights on financial outcomes and key business metrics while driving continuous enhancements within the finance team.
- Engage with key business partners and finance leadership, communicating essential trends, observations, and business implications.
- Design and develop dashboards and scorecard reports for management use, assisting in the preparation of monthly reporting packages.
- Conduct month-end variance analysis and provide commentary against budgets and forecasts, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Support financial modeling and decision-making processes that align with strategic initiatives.
- A Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline (preferably Accounting or Finance), complemented by a professional accounting designation (CPA) or an MBA.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in finance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced skills in Excel, and experience with ERP systems such as Oracle.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational abilities.
- Confidence in engaging with senior leadership and the capability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with a proven track record of engaging with leadership in both business and finance contexts.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize effectively under tight deadlines.
