The Financial Operations Analyst plays a crucial role in assisting with the analysis and preparation of consolidated financial results, annual business strategies, quarterly forecasts, and comprehensive reporting in alignment with Magna's established policies and guidelines.

  • Coordinate, consolidate, and review global quarterly forecasts and annual business strategies as part of the global team.
  • Prepare financial presentations for quarterly updates to senior management.
  • Generate month-end financial reports for executive review.
  • Oversee monthly capital expenditure analysis and reporting.
  • Evaluate and address identified financial reporting deficiencies, assisting in the development of corrective actions and follow-up on remediation.
  • Facilitate and monitor the quarterly SOX 302 certification process.
  • Participate in annual detailed financial reviews across all operational divisions.
  • Conduct financial analyses as requested by senior leadership.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities and special projects as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Accounting designation (CPA, CA preferred).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience in financial reporting at a large public corporation or public accounting firm is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial applications such as Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) is a plus.
