Job Summary: The Biomedical Engineering Coordinator will oversee and coordinate a team of technicians, participate in planning, organizing, and evaluating workshop activities, and contribute to technician training and development. Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, quality control, risk management, and project support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate a team of technicians to ensure efficient workflow and productivity
  • Participate in planning, organizing, and evaluating workshop activities to optimize resource allocation and minimize downtime
  • Contribute to technician training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Maintain and repair equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
  • Ensure quality control and risk management to prevent errors and ensure patient safety
  • Provide project support to ensure timely completion and effective implementation

Requirements:

  • College diploma in electronics or related field
  • 5 years of experience as a biomedical engineering technician

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in biomedical technologies
  • Experience in Laboratory and Hemodialysis sectors

Essential Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong leadership and coordination skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Teams
  • Familiarity with Octopus CMMS software
  • Strong French and functional English
