Role Overview

We are seeking a Biomedical Engineering Intern for a period of 4 to 8 months. This role is integral to our Research & Development and Manufacturing teams, where you will contribute to enhancing our current and future product offerings and assay technologies. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Optimizing manufacturing workflows.
  2. Investigating and designing tools to facilitate assembly processes.
  3. Establishing quality assurance protocols for produced components.
  4. Creating incoming inspection procedures.
  5. Drafting manufacturing instructions.
  6. Assisting in the assembly of components.
  7. Supporting the scientific team by designing experimental setups and fixtures.
  8. Conceptualizing, designing, rapidly prototyping, and constructing various elements of the next version of our hardware product.
  9. Collaborating with scientific and software teams to ensure seamless system integration.
  10. Contributing to the development of groundbreaking technology that will influence the future of women's healthcare.

Candidate Profile

  1. You are pursuing or have obtained a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
  2. You possess prior experience in the medical device sector or a similar regulated industry.
  3. You demonstrate a meticulous approach to testing design and documentation.
  4. You have foundational IT and software skills to support documentation within an electronic Quality Management System.
  5. You exhibit strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  6. You can work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
