About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and physically fit individual to join our team as a Farm Labourer at Canadian Farms Produce Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform various tasks related to crop harvesting, including hoeing, dividing produce, grading, and loading/unloading crates.
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, ensuring efficient and safe operation.
  • Assist in the cultivation and irrigation of crops, as well as the fertilization and spraying of crops.
  • Participate in the harvesting of crops, including potatoes, cabbage, carrots, and other vegetables.
  • Contribute to the cleaning and maintenance of the work area, stables, barns, and pens.
  • Monitor crops for disease and health problems, and examine products for quality and readiness for market.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and working under pressure. The role requires standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Requirements
  • Availability for shift or on-call work.
  • Legally able to work in Canada.
