Key Responsibilities:

As a Speech-Language Pathologist at Interior Health Authority, you will assess and treat communication and swallowing disorders arising from various medical conditions such as strokes, head injuries, dementia, degenerative diseases, and respiratory complications.

Patients may be treated in both inpatient and outpatient environments.

Competence in dysphagia management is essential, including conducting clinical bedside swallowing assessments and modified barium swallow studies.
