Join Our Team as a Speech-Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Royal Inland Hospital. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing assessment and treatment of communication and swallowing problems resulting from stroke, head injuries, dementia, degenerative disorders, respiratory issues, and other medical complications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients and their caregivers.
  • Collaborate with medical and allied health colleagues to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in dysphagia management and clinical bedside swallowing assessments.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
  • Current registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia.
  • Strong clinical skills and experience in dysphagia management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
