Human Resources Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced In-House Training Manager to join our team at Richmond Hill Toyota. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures to ensure a fair and respectful work environment.
- Coordinate the activities of the HR department to ensure they meet the organization's goals and objectives.
- Direct and control daily operations, including managing staff and evaluating their performance.
- Plan and control budget and expenditures for training programs and initiatives.
- Develop and implement human resources policies and programs that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Review HR projects to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Train staff on various topics, including communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
- Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements.
- Establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Oversee the classification and rating of occupations to ensure fairness and equity.
- Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales.
- Manage contracts and agreements with external vendors and partners.
- Oversee the analysis of employee data and information to inform business decisions.
- Research employee benefits and health and safety practices and recommend changes to improve the work environment.
- Oversee the development of communication strategies to engage employees and stakeholders.
- Oversee the preparation of reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Advise senior management on HR-related matters and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers.
- Oversee payroll administration to ensure accuracy and compliance.
