Grocery Retail Supervisor

As a Retail Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily activities of our grocery store. Your leadership will ensure a smooth operation and a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Financial Oversight: Authorize and manage payments, ensuring accurate financial transactions.
- Inventory Control: Order and manage merchandise, maintaining optimal stock levels.
- Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints to ensure satisfaction.
- Operational Planning: Establish work schedules to optimize staff productivity.
- Sales Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports on sales performance and inventory management.
- Team Coordination: Supervise and coordinate the activities of store personnel to achieve operational goals.
- Cash Management: Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Payroll Administration: Manage payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate employee compensation.
- Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance reviews to foster employee development.
You will be responsible for supervising a team of approximately 3-4 staff members.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school education is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred, with a minimum of 1 to less than 7 months in a supervisory role.
This is a permanent position requiring 30 hours of work per week. The primary language of work will be English.
