Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Office Coordinator to support our operations at Gerry's Freezer Meats Corporation. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth functioning of our office environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Management: Organize and manage seminars, conferences, and various corporate events.
  • Operational Oversight: Direct and oversee daily office activities to ensure efficiency.
  • Communication: Manage incoming mail and distribute it appropriately.
  • Financial Management: Plan and monitor budgetary allocations and expenditures.
  • Documentation: Record and prepare minutes for meetings, seminars, and conferences.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Schedule and confirm appointments for staff and management.
  • Telephone Management: Handle telephone inquiries and relay messages accurately.
  • Electronic Communication: Respond to electronic inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Data Compilation: Gather and compile data, statistics, and other relevant information.
  • Employee Support: Address employee questions and concerns effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Order and maintain office supplies and inventory levels.
  • Travel Coordination: Arrange travel itineraries and make necessary reservations.
  • Reception Duties: Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate contacts or service areas.
  • Information Management: Establish and maintain both manual and computerized filing systems.
  • Bookkeeping: Perform basic bookkeeping functions as required.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Language Requirement: Proficiency in English.
  • Work Hours: Flexible hours ranging from 32 to 40 hours per week.
