Position: Culinary Assistant – Part-Time

Become an integral part of the vibrant team at Great Canadian Entertainment and contribute to outstanding guest experiences. As a Culinary Assistant, you will operate under the supervision of the Senior Chef de Partie, taking charge of food preparation, upholding company standards, and ensuring a safe kitchen environment. Help us in crafting memorable moments for our guests and fellow team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food items as directed
  • Organize mis en place for high-volume production
  • Sanitize kitchen equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • Receive and store inventory appropriately
  • Participate in culinary meetings and communicate effectively across departments
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Ensure adherence to regulations
  • Execute assigned tasks efficiently

Qualifications:

  • Culinary education or apprenticeship preferred
  • Safe Food Handling Certificate required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Minimum of 6 months culinary experience
  • High School diploma
  • Bilingualism is an asset

Work Environment:

  • Flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Successful completion of a criminal record check
