Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cage Cashier - Part Time. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a safe and welcoming work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service to guests, exceeding their expectations and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Handle cash transactions, including foreign currency exchange, traveler's cheques, and cash counts, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Monitor and report any discrepancies or suspicious cash activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Redeem value chips and gaming tickets for cash, and verify and process machine fills, machine jackpots, and table fills.
  • Issue opening floats to Slot Attendants and reconcile closing floats, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with all operational departments, building strong working relationships and ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • Comply with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements, ensuring a safe and secure work environment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary School Diploma; Post-secondary education an asset.
  • Smart Serve certification required or willingness to obtain.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in high-volume cash handling.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnights, based on business needs.
