About the Role:

The Mental Health Therapist will be responsible for providing psychosocial interventions using a variety of treatment modalities, including individual, family, and group therapy. You will work independently and as part of a team to provide crisis intervention, assessment, consultation, referral, and treatment to clients. Your expertise will be essential in helping clients achieve their recovery goals and improving their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychosocial interventions using a variety of treatment modalities
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide crisis intervention, assessment, consultation, referral, and treatment
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet client needs
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop treatment plans
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing
  • Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with a range of community and agency stakeholders
