About the Role
CASA Mental Health is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will be working with children, youth, and families to provide timely mental health care and support their well-being.
Key Responsibilities
As a Mental Health Therapist, you will conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions to support clients in achieving their goals. You will also facilitate psycho-educational and therapeutic groups for children and parents, and carry out case management functions, including liaising with community services and other professionals involved with the child and family.
Requirements
We are looking for a qualified Mental Health Therapist with a graduate degree in psychology, social work, or occupational therapy. You should have current registration in good standing with a professional college identified under the Health Professions Act, and a minimum of two years of clinical practice in child and family mental health and/or youth addictions. Knowledge and experience supporting families connected with children services and/or family support services is an asset.
