**Compensation Package**

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary of $52,838 per annum, based on the location in Edmonton and the job requirements. This figure may vary depending on experience and qualifications.

 

**Job Description**

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Therapist to join our team in delivering high-quality, trauma-focused mental health therapies to children, teens, and families. As a key member of our CASA Classrooms program, you will work closely with our team and external partners to provide comprehensive support.

 

**Key Responsibilities**

- Provide multi-modality therapy for students, working collaboratively with caregivers and other professionals to develop tailored treatment plans.

- Conduct mental health assessments, formulate diagnoses as appropriate, and perform case management functions, including case conferences and liaison work.

- Supervise student placements and contribute to staff knowledge and understanding of discipline-specific issues.

 

**Qualifications**

To succeed in this role, you will require a Master's degree in psychology, social work, or occupational therapy, or a Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field, with a minimum of three years of experience in an educational or mental health setting. You must also hold active registration with Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW), College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP), or Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT). A valid Class 5 driver's license and access to a vehicle are also necessary.

 

**Conditions of Employment**

A satisfactory Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and Child Intervention Check are required. The successful candidate must also be able to pass and maintain Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) certification and physical ability to perform all interventions.
