About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Subway Sandwiches & Salads. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurants, maintaining high standards of quality and customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Development
    • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to meet customer needs.
  • Financial Management
    • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Performance Management
    • Conduct performance reviews to assess employee performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Inventory Management
    • Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient stock management and minimize waste.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Supply Chain Management
    • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure the best deals.
  • Marketing and Sales
    • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive business growth and increase sales.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Operations Management
    • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficient restaurant management.
About You

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and leadership skills. As a Restaurant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of 5-10 people and ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurants.

Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, reliable, and a team player.
