We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Server to join our team at Gordon Ramsay Burger, a restaurant owned and operated by Great Canadian Entertainment. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and ensure they feel welcome and valued throughout their dining experience.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, making recommendations when necessary to enhance the guest's dining experience.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely and courteous manner, ensuring guests' needs are met and exceeded.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards and company policies.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and other servers to ensure seamless service and efficient table turns.
- Resolve guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to provide accurate information to guests.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
- Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the dining area, as assigned by management.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling, inventory management, and customer service.
Requirements
- Previous serving experience in a high-volume restaurant environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards and company policies.
- Availability to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
