Position Overview

The role of the Food Service Supervisor is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our culinary services. This position involves overseeing the preparation and presentation of food, while maintaining high standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Order and manage food and kitchen supplies efficiently.
  • Staff Coordination: Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Meal Preparation Planning: Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all food and service adhere to established quality control standards.
  • Financial Planning: Prepare budgets and cost estimates to optimize resource allocation.
  • Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit operational reports as required.
  • Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules for kitchen staff.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
