Culinary Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Operations Supervisor to join our team at Compass Group Canada. As a key member of our kitchen management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that food is prepared and served to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement efficient kitchen workflows to meet production demands
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and safety
  • Coordinate food preparation, portion control, and presentation to meet customer expectations
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize resources
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve profitability
  • Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to create menus and specials that meet customer preferences
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies
  • Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and facilities to ensure optimal performance and hygiene
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
