Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in the renewable energy sector. As a key member of our electrical engineering team, you will play a critical role in shaping the direction of our services and complementing a group of highly skilled experts.

Job Summary:

The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for performing a wide variety of technical tasks, including electrical power system studies, design, development, and construction of renewable energy projects. You will work closely with experts from related fields, including solar, turbine, energy analysis, environmental, and civil engineering groups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support business development activities in North America by demonstrating expertise and engaging in discussions with key accounts and customers.
  • Act as a collaborative project manager on electrical engineering projects, authoring and reviewing technical reports.
  • Perform or review power system studies, including grounding, reactive power, and cable ampacity using computer software.
  • Review electrical designs and interconnection contracts for wind, offshore wind, solar, and storage projects.
  • Provide training in electrical safety and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience directly working on renewable energy projects.
  • Strong writing and communication skills for report writing and communication of technical concepts.
  • Willingness to participate in domestic travel (US and Canada).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience performing electrical power systems studies.
  • OSHA 10 hour or equivalent.
