Production Scheduler

Job Overview
FLINT Corp. is actively seeking a skilled Scheduler to enhance our operational capabilities. In this position, you will take charge of organizing and formulating production timelines for the fabrication, installation, and upkeep of industrial process systems. Collaborating with various levels of management, you will ensure that projects, outages, shutdowns, and maintenance activities are meticulously planned and executed, developing sequences and lead times to align with the client’s projected master schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Site Management Team and Client to facilitate effective project planning and scheduling. Ensure all expenditures receive approval from the Project Manager. Maintain the master schedule for the project, documenting the impact of both completed and outstanding work. Deliver periodic project reports with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. Utilize custom layouts, including critical path analysis, baseline comparisons, and look-ahead planning. Oversee the planning, construction, and turnover phases of the project, ensuring seamless integration with the project schedule. Monitor project progress and productivity, identifying concerns and proposing timely solutions. Analyze changes and provide planning solutions through what-if scenarios. Offer recommendations to enhance the overall planning and scheduling processes. Ensure that all planned work adheres to the highest safety standards, fostering a positive safety culture. Review contractor schedules to ensure they are realistic, achievable, and aligned with the Master Schedule.Candidate Profile
Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Prometheus is essential. Strong understanding of project planning and scheduling within a mechanical context. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Strong organizational capabilities. A degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent training and experience. At least 2 years of mechanical scheduling/planning experience in an industrial environment. Ability to interpret and apply regulations, policies, and procedures across various work situations. Competence in reading drawings and interpreting specifications. Demonstrates a safe and productive work ethic. Current safety certifications are required.Benefits
