The Assistant Store Manager collaborates closely with the Store Manager to foster a cooperative atmosphere that encourages inclusivity and positive interactions. To drive the success of the store, you will lead and mentor the team to meet sales and profitability objectives. Your involvement in recruitment, performance evaluation, training, and development is crucial. Adaptability to various situations, environments, challenges, tasks, and schedules is key to your success.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Ensure the store achieves company objectives and complies with key performance metrics.
- Oversee store operations by effectively assigning tasks (including adherence to company policies, loss prevention, payroll management, reporting, and scheduling).
- Assist in recruiting, managing, developing, and training motivated candidates interested in sales, customer service, and fashion.
- Execute marketing initiatives while maintaining a clean, consistent, and inviting atmosphere that encourages customer engagement.
- Maintain open and effective communication with the Store Manager and District Manager.
Qualifications:
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- A minimum of one to two years of leadership or supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
- Demonstrated ability to guide teams towards success with outstanding sales performance.
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is a plus.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic setting while providing exceptional customer service.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends.
Additional Information:
Benefits:
Salary Range: $45,000 - $50,000
- Comprehensive benefits package (for full-time employees).
