Assistant Store Leader

The Assistant Store Manager plays a vital role in supporting the Store Manager by fostering a cooperative atmosphere that encourages inclusivity and strong relationships among team members. To drive the store's success, you will guide and motivate the team to meet sales and profitability objectives. Your responsibilities will also include participating in hiring, performance evaluation, training, and employee development. Adaptability to various challenges, environments, and schedules is crucial for thriving in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the store aligns with corporate objectives and adheres to key performance metrics.
- Oversee daily operations by managing tasks related to company policies, loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and staff scheduling.
- Assist in recruiting, managing, developing, and training enthusiastic candidates for sales and customer service roles.
- Execute marketing initiatives while maintaining a clean, consistent, and inviting shopping environment.
- Maintain open lines of communication with the Store Manager and District Manager.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one to two years of leadership or supervisory experience in a customer-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams to achieve outstanding sales performance.
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is a plus.
- Proficient in multitasking within a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

- Salary range: $45,000 - $50,000.
