While primarily operating behind the scenes, this role also provides opportunities for positive guest interactions, showcasing professionalism and a commitment to service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas, including corridors, restrooms, lobbies, stairwells, and fitness zones.
- Ensure all surfaces in both upper and lower back-of-house areas are thoroughly cleaned.
- Manage waste removal in public spaces, including the hotel perimeter.
- Oversee cleanliness in administrative spaces, including waste disposal and vacuuming.
Housekeeping Duties:
- Organize and replenish supplies in all housekeeping storage areas and carts.
- Collect and sort soiled linens within designated timeframes for laundry services.
- Handle garbage and recycling from linen closets, ensuring proper disposal.
- Deliver necessary resources to team members as required.
- Respond to guest requests for additional hotel amenities, ensuring timely delivery.
- Uphold the security and privacy of guest accommodations at all times.
- Conduct deep cleaning tasks as per the established schedule.
Guest Interaction:
- Exhibit professionalism and uphold service standards that enhance the guest experience.
- Act as a representative of the hotel, promoting a positive image.
- Provide quality assistance to guests regarding room amenities and special requests.
- Ensure the security and privacy of guest accommodations consistently.
- Execute deep cleaning duties as scheduled.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience in housekeeping is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Dependable and responsible individual with a strong team-oriented mindset.
- Physical capability to perform tasks that involve bending, lifting, and movement throughout the shift.
- Previous experience in customer service is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Enjoys completing tasks and takes pride in their work.
