About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Spectrum Health Care Inc. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, toileting, and skincare.
  • Assess and respond to the changing needs of patients, communicating with our team to ensure seamless care.
  • Perform delegated and assigned tasks under the supervision of a Home Support Supervisor.
  • Travel within assigned regions to provide care to patients in their homes or facilities.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
  • Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate from a recognized program.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin/Cantonese.
  • Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR certification.
  • Updated immunization record, including a TB test within the last 6 months.
  • Proficient verbal and written English communication skills.
