Position Overview

As a Concrete Finishing Specialist at PARADISE CONTRACTING LTD., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and durability of concrete surfaces. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of various construction projects.

Qualifications
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in concrete finishing.
Work Environment
  • Exposure to dusty conditions.
  • Work at heights, including scaffolding.
  • Experience in cold, hot, and noisy environments.
  • Outdoor work in wet or damp conditions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Fill hollows and eliminate imperfections on freshly poured concrete.
  • Utilize power vibrators for effective concrete compaction.
  • Level the top surface of concrete according to specified grades and depths.
  • Apply finishing techniques to achieve desired surface quality using both hand and power tools.
  • Install fixtures such as anchor bolts, steel plates, and door sills.
  • Apply hardening and sealing agents to enhance surface durability.
  • Conduct waterproofing and restoration of concrete surfaces.
  • Repair and resurface damaged sections of concrete structures.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks.
  • Capable of lifting heavy loads.
  • Comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Strong attention to detail and sound discrimination.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
Tools and Equipment
  • Must possess personal tools and safety equipment.
  • Required safety gear includes steel-toed boots, hard hats, safety glasses, ear plugs, and gloves.

  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Exhibits flexibility in adapting to changing work conditions.
Work Schedule

This position typically requires working between 30 to 44 hours per week in a permanent capacity.
