Position: Director & Investment Advisor for Private and Institutional Clients

Overview: The Director & Investment Advisor is an integral member of the investment team at Yorkville Asset Management, focusing on client relationship management and portfolio oversight within the designated area. This role involves crafting customized investment strategies to align with the unique objectives of each client while managing their assets in accordance with Yorkville's approved investment framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Explore and identify opportunities for business growth by promoting Yorkville's investment services to affluent families, entrepreneurs, and professionals.
  2. Leverage extensive investment and taxation expertise to tailor solutions for clients, including the creation of tax-efficient portfolios designed for family trusts and estates.
  3. Collaborate with Centers of Influence (COIs) to cultivate referrals and deliver exceptional advisory services to high-net-worth clients, encompassing corporate restructuring and utilizing insurance for estate planning and tax management.
  4. Ensure clients receive outstanding service through regular engagement, educational sessions, quarterly reporting, year-end tax consultations, and comprehensive investment reviews.
  5. Partner with key stakeholders across Yorkville (including Portfolio Administration, Investments, Compliance, Marketing, Wholesaling, Insurance, and Institutional Sales) to provide superior solutions while maintaining a professional and transparent representation of Yorkville.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
  1. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in investment advisory roles.
  2. A bachelor's degree along with a CFA designation is mandatory; a CPA designation and/or a strong understanding of Canadian taxation is highly desirable.
  3. Possession of a vehicle for travel within the region is essential.
